Salary Range:  The current salary  ranges from $34,600 to $53,968 for certificated staff; $7.72 per hour to $26.93 (depending on position) per hour for classified staff; competitive benefits package included for all employees working 20+ hours per week). Experienced certificated staff are allowed credit for all K-12 experience on the Career Ladder.


Student Loan ForgivenessThe district is listed in the federal loan cancellation directory and some or all of a teacher's student loans may be forgiving, depending on the type of loan you took out.  Employees should contact their loan provider/servicer for further information.

2017-18 Positions  

Paraprofessional - Special Education

Paraprofessional needed to work one-on-one with a special needs student.  This position will begin in the 2017-18 school year and continuation of this position is dependent upon enrollment and attendance of the student and said student's need for assistance.

Middle School Football Coach

This position will begin in August, 2017.  IHSAA enforces the following qualifications for high school coaches and sub varsity coaches are strongly encouraged to meet these requirements:

Must be certified to teach in Idaho or have completed a coaching fundamentals course.  Authorized courses are NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and ASEP Coaching Principles.

All coaches must complete a First Aid course with a CPR component from a school district recognized provider, i.e. one whose curriculum is similar to the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.  All coaches must take the NFHS online concussion course prior to the first day of practice.

Substitutes are needed in all areas of the district, to include classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, food service staff, custodians, and office staff.  If you are interested in working as a substitute, please contact Kathy Sperber at (208)  686-1621.

Certificated Substitutes
If you have an education credential in Idaho or another state, you can earn $90 per day (more than any other district in North Idaho) as a substitute teacher in our district. Our substitutes enjoy small class sizes, proactive administrative support, and professional co-workers. For more information, please contact Kathy Sperber at (208)686-2112.  After 10 days in the same continuous position, certificated substitutes are paid the appropriate wage on the certificated salary schedule.
 
School Bus Drivers
Substitute bus drivers are needed on a regular basis for routes and activity trips. Class A CDL with proper endorsements are required. Training is available.

Bus drivers are paid on a competitive scale depending on experience. Substitute drivers are also eligible for activity trips.
