Salary Range:  The current salary  ranges from $34,600 to $55,568 for certificated staff; $7.96 per hour to $27.62 (depending on position) per hour for classified staff; competitive benefits package included for all employees working 20+ hours per week). 

Student Loan ForgivenessThe district is listed in the federal loan cancellation directory and some or all of a teacher's student loans may be forgiving, depending on the type of loan you took out.  Employees should contact their loan provider/servicer for further information.

Title VII Paraprofessional - Lakeside Elementary

Paraprofessional needed to assist Native students in building strong academic skills.  Position is funded under Title VII.  Position is benefitted and full time.

JV Girls Basketball Coach

One vacancy exists for a JV  Girls Basketball Coach at Lakeside High School.  Practice begins October 30, 2017.

The Idaho High School Activities Association enforces the following qualifications for high school coaches:

The head coach of any ISHAA sport or activity must be certified to teach in Idaho or have completed a coaching fundamentals course.  Authorized courses are:  NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and ASEP Coaching Principles.

Assistant and sub-varsity coaches need not be certified teachers as long as they have been officially approved by their Board of Trustees.  Assistant and sub-varsity coaches are strongly encouraged to complete a coaching principles course.

All coaches of IHSAA activities must complete a First Aid course with a CPR component from a school district-recognized provider - one whose curriculum is similar to the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.  New coaches must complete the course during the first year of coaching.  At no time may a time practice, travel, or compete without at least one adult present who has met this requirement.

All coaches must tak the NFHS online concussion course prior to the first day of practice.

Certificated special educator needed to fill vacancy at Lakeside Jr/Sr High School in Plummer.  Applicants should hold or be eligible for an Idaho education credential endorsed for Generalist K/12 and must work well with secondary age students with special needs.

Non-Certificated Substitutes

Certificated Substitutes
If you have an education credential in Idaho or another state, you can earn $90 per day (more than any other district in North Idaho) as a substitute teacher in our district. Our substitutes enjoy small class sizes, proactive administrative support, and professional co-workers. For more information, please contact Kathy Sperber at (208)686-2112.  After 10 days in the same continuous position, certificated substitutes are paid the appropriate wage on the certificated salary schedule.
School Bus Drivers
Substitute bus drivers are needed on a regular basis for routes and activity trips. Class A CDL with proper endorsements are required. Training is available.

Bus drivers are paid on a competitive scale depending on experience. Substitute drivers are also eligible for activity trips.
